**CORONAVIRUS UPDATE**

If you have travelled from Wuhan or Hubei Province to the UK in the last 14 days you should immediately:

  • Stay indoors and avoid contact with other people as you would with the flu

  • Call NHS 111 to inform them of your recent travel to the area and follow their advice

Please follow this advice even if you do not have symptoms of the virus.

PLEASE DO NOT PRESENT AT THE SURGERY

This advice applies to travellers who have returned to the UK from the following areas should you have symptoms:

CHINA, HONG KONG, JAPAN, MACAU, MALAYSIA, REP OF KOREA, SINGAPORE, TAIWAN OR THAILAND

HAYFEVER MEDICATION 

If you usually take medication for hayfever please note that we advise you to start taking this from March onwards. If you use medication that is available to purchase over the counter at a pharmacy we will no longer be able to prescribe this for you.  

Please see the below list of over the counter medications for hayfever:

• Acrivastine 8mg capsules
• Cetirizine 10mg tablets and 1mg/ml oral solution
• Loratadine 10mg tablets and 5mg/5ml syrup
• Chlorphenamine 4mg tablets 2mg/5ml oral solution
• Beclomethsone 50mcg/ml nasal spray
• Fluticasone 0.05% w/w nasal spray

REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS: blue_yellow_pills

Repeat prescription requests can be placed in the box located in reception, posted to the surgery, faxed to us or requested online. For normal repeat prescription requests, please allow 48 hours for collection (do not count Saturdays or Sundays). Please be aware if you request items that are not on your repeat list, they may take longer than two days to process.

For your safety, we are unable to accept repeat medication requests by telephone. If you need your medication reviewing, you may be able to have a telephone appointment. 

Your prescription can be collected from reception once it's ready. Alternatively if you provide us with a stamped, addressed envelope we can post it to you.

In addition, please speak to your local pharmacy for details on their collection services.
